The second season picks up where the initial left off. Rex is dead, and, brand new neighbors, the Applewhites have changed in. Gabrielle, Lynette, and Susan try to joy Bree whilst Phyllis, Rex’s mom (guest star Shirley Knight), arrives on Wisteria Lane. Meanwhile Mike and Susan understanding with Zach whilst Gabrielle struggles with the dual group in her life.
